Welcome to Heighington CE Primary School
Bishopton Redmarshall CE Primary School
What makes our schools special and will convince anyone who looks at this website that they would like their children to attend one or more of our schools? In one word – uniqueness.
Our schools are unique.
BRandH Academy comprises two schools, Heighington CE Primary School and Bishopton Redmarshall CE Primary School both of which are academies in their own right and operate as a multi-academy trust. In addition, we have a partnership arrangement with George Dent Nursery School and it is my pleasure to be the executive Headteacher of all three schools.
Your child is unique.
We are here to provide the very best possible education for your child, academically, physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally.
To do this your child has to be seen to be unique and it is our role to allow your child to develop as a whole person. We will strive to reach the highest possible standards for every child –everyone is different and there will be a range achieved- but it will be the best possible. We recognise that the physical environment and especially sport is incredibly important and a wide range of sports, competitions and other activities are organised for all children. We invest in our grounds and infrastructure to keep improving the facilities. PSE is a prime subject in the Foundation Stage yet it is no longer compulsory after the age of five. We think this is wrong, a child is just beginning to learn about themselves and others at five and this process is so important that we have PSE as a taught lesson throughout the school. We have very close links with the churches in the villages and believe that we are a member of a very special family, the Church of England. Collective worship, church services, regular visits to church and from the vicars all contribute to the outstanding ethos.
The vision for the academy is unique.
The Governors are always seeking to ensure that what is asked of us is delivered. The academies are very successful but the governors continue to set an ambitious and forward looking agenda to work towards and in this rapidly changing digital world the academies must keep up with the children!
This website is just a snapshot, if you are interested in a place now or in the future please call us and we will be only too pleased to meet with you.
- This is an outstanding school where pupils excel in all they do.
